Top of the Rock Walk Directions & Map

Starting at the Top of the Rock stone, this short loop walk leads you through fields, a wild bird sanctuary and a beautiful stretch of the Ilen River, to bring you back along the old butter road to the site of the old village, with its remains of famine dwellings. This historic spot is associated with St Finbarr, the Big Fairs and the visit of O Donovan Rossa. The Top of the Rock Pod Park is along this route.
