During the course of creating and maintaining the walk, numerous technical hurdles have to be overcome. From building bridges to improving trail surfaces, the Sheep’s Head Way has undertaken many large and small projects in order to improve the walks. (Mealagh bridge, Lighthouse trail surface, Farranamanagh seating stones, styles and bridges, road works, etc.)
